A Dog's Tale of the Stick Olympics is the first in the A Dog's Tale series.
Featuring two dogs, FOXY a Terrier puppy and ICE, a Husky bred in a puppy farm. Each 'comes of age' after joining two packs of dogs, ready to accept the Stick Olympic Challenge set by the king of dogs, REXUS. The dog packs rediscover their lost breed skills and instincts, which have become forgotten in their pampered lives.
The dogs' true powers must be reawakened, using their newly learned expertise and determination. Each dog pack battles through weather, squirrel sabotage, missing dogs and the threat of land grabbing developers, as they compete to find the golden stick and become supreme champions of their beloved parkland.
This illustrated book is designed to offer a variety of reading choices for the reluctant reader, whether dipping into a variety of shorter reading experiences at the end of the book and/or the larger story as a whole.
