About Emotive: The Boy and the Flame

Richard Hope Nightmin is a sweet but naive child, a caring grandson, a flame-controlling powerhouse, and apparently a monster known as the Emblazed Beast. On a quest pushing him out of the forest den and into the city, the boy must keep his wits as he puts too much power into stopping crime. Along the way, Richard finds himself a friend in the scariest creature there is to meet within the city, a terrifying vampire, Bucky Drackol. As the city's new guardian makes his presence known, he is led by a mysterious man living at a statue to halt a series of storms conjured by an evil clan threatening the world with their desire for power. Despite all of the terror, Richard struggles with something a little deeper than what he can comprehend. If one thing's for sure, it's that he's in way over his head.
