Ethan's Big Sound

Ethan's Big Sound is the first Engage with Ethan series book. Ethan's Big Sound shares how our son Ethan goes about getting attention. And mostly Ethan chooses to do so by making "A Big Sound." This book is our way of letting the world get to know our fantastic son Ethan.

The Engage with Ethan series is inspired by our son Ethan. Ethan is nine and loves trampolines, bowling, and everything outdoors. Ethan is primarily non-verbal, and his education is within the Wentzville School District in a Special Classroom/Program that teaches children with Autism. Ethan is still learning things that some of his peers may already know.
He is beginning to use a communication device (iPad) at school and having a lot of success communicating his wants and needs. We are very proud of the book series as it expresses the love and joy we feel as Ethan's parents. Ethan has excellent teachers at Wentzville School District and continues progressing in communication, fine motor skills, and adapting to his environment. Ethan enjoys singing nursery rhymes like an itsy-bitsy spider and the wheels on the bus. Ethan is the youngest of our three Young Kings. His two older brothers, Charles and Judah, love and protect him. Other things that Ethan enjoys are counting and singing the ABCs. Ethan's speech is emerging, and he is a bright and highly loving young man we adore. Enjoy the Engage with Ethan Series.
