Having taken separate journeys through difficult relationships, Frances and Bella find the courage to branch out into a new venture, and eventually new relationships. Frances sets up a business in house sitting in the Queensland, Australia, hinterland, which flourishes with Bella's pragmatic help and support. They become close friends in the process, supporting each other through many ups and downs. It is only when Frances must come to terms with a debilitating illness, that the true strength of their enduring friendship becoming apparent.
