Using Duchamp's technique of the 'readymade', Germán Sierra has transfromed plundered snippets from medival and scientific journals and repurposed them as poetry. The resulting pieces have a glacial autistic beauty reminiscent of the paintings of de Chirico and Carra, and the early writings of J G Ballard.
