Eric, the lich king of Abaddon has managed to wrangle his difficult people into good-enough behavior to win them the possibility of returning to Earth. He is granted permission to come to Earth on a trial basis. When he meets Tamara, he believes he knows the lesson he needs to learn-but it's not what he thinks.
