Russ was born in Holywell, Flintshire, North Wales and at the time of writing the 1st edition of this book, owned an Electrical and Lighting Shop on Holywell High Street.
He has always had a keen interest in the Great War and is delighted to present this updated edition, which includes further research on the men listed on the Holywell Memorial and the added names of the men now listed on the Panton Place Memorial.
