Forgotten Contributions of Little Africa Soldiers at Fort Wagner

Phillip Thomas Tucker, Ph.D., has presented a ground-breaking new series entitled New Look Glory 54th Massachusetts Series to bestow greater recognition to the common soldiers of the first black regiment from the North.

The overall goal of this series will be to explore the lives of the remarkable common soldiers of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment and their moral struggle to bestow greater equality to blacks across America. Therefore, the books of this series will present long-overlooked and forgotten aspects of the fascinating story of the 54th Massachusetts.

Most of all, this ground-breaking series will honor the courage and dedication of these brave men who waged a war to destroy slavery and bring forth a new birth of freedom to America.
