About Four No More

In Four No More, a little girl experiences the normal frustrations of a four-year-old. Tired of being four, she tells her mother that she wishes she could be a baby like her brother. To her surprise, her mother offers her the opportunity to be a baby for a day. That night, despite her excitement, she falls asleep to dream that she is a baby, and although it has its rewards, she quickly learns that there are things that babies cannot do. Awakened suddenly, she goes to her mother and says that she would just as soon be four. Dr. Sobel is a former elementary school teacher, behavior analyst, licensed psychologist, and behavior consultant. She currently teaches parents and educators, who have children with behavioral challenges, the techniques of applied behavior analysis involving children of all ages and abilities. Her interests in writing children's stories about developmental conflicts in childhood stems from a deisre to share with a wide audience her ability to see through the eyes of a child.
