Alex's journey and the life she has lived have been a story worthy of the big screen. Her narrative is fraught with loss, trauma, and devastation from its meager beginning until this very day. However, she still manages to wear a smile, think of others before herself, encourage those who are in pain and inspire hope and optimism. When her world and the people in it have let her down, she has consistently turned to the only place where her help can truly come from.
