Fruits of the Holy Spirit

Did you know God gives us the ability to trample over serpents and scorpions? This includes any evil thought or weapon conceived against us! Only through Yeshua (Jesus Christ) does He give us the strength and power to do this. He sent His Son, Yeshua (Jesus Christ), to die for our sins so that we could be saved and have eternal life. When we confess our sins to Him and have a personal relationship with Him, His blood atonement washes away our sins. We repent our sins and ask Him to be our Lord and Savior. Then, we can receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit - His Spirit who guides us, teaches us and corrects us through our conscience. Through difficult trials in life, the Holy Spirit shows us the key characteristics that we will portray as believers and followers of Yeshua. These are called "fruits of the Holy Spirit''. When we become believers in Yeshua, we will no longer want to sin willfully and will want to share the Gospel (the Good News) with others. We learn to imitate Him because we love Him and our neighbor as ourself. "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. -John 15:5Sonia Johnson is a firm born again believer in her Christian faith.
