What the Bible says about sex, and what people read into that, are not always the same thing. People read sexuality into sex, opting for first impressions rather than seeing what is actually there. They forget that there is a third choice to be considered, and that it is not what it seems at first glance. Too often we defer to what others have said or written on this topic, and read it into the scriptures rather then letting the Bible speak for itself. Comparing Scripture with Scripture is the best way to go about Bible study rather than comparing what some author or speaker has said about it and taking their word aa the final authority.
