About Great Grandma Says, "You Catch More Flies With Honey!"
Our heroine's great Grandma tells our heroine that she can catch more flies with honey than our heroine can catch with vinegar, which seems quite strange to our heroine, because she has no intention of ever catching flies. And our heroine then decides maybe she didn't understand what her great grandma meant; and so our heroine begins a journey and asks everyone she can think of (beginning with the elephant) if they know what her great grandma meant!
Think about what you think our heroine's great grandma meant, and why what she said was an important thing to say, as you practice reading skills, and as you build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find on the pages this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by award winning author, attorney and former teacher, Penelope Dyan.
But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun, or a kid like you just won't love to learn! And when you are all finished traveling through this book, you can go to Bellissimavideo's YouTube channel; and you can watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book!
