Groundless Existence

An examination of the implicit phenomenological and existential foundations of Carl Schmitt's political philosophy. It claims that Schmitt decisively breaks with the metaphysical tradition and predicates the political on the 'groundless' categories of existence, including risk, decision, and agonism.
