Halcyon Days

The poems cover a great variety of topics, some reminiscence, others present-day meditations, and also exploration of our future prospects. Each offers enticing imagery and various shapes on the page.... These resolute verses, like golden coins, glimmer with betrayal, passion and mystery but still hold true to the Fibonacci structure. Nature may have devised the 'Fibonacci Sequence' for efficiency, but in Halcyon Days under Sterling Warner's alchemy, the human need to account for the life and death forces we are part of becomes the power of the poet and not mathematician.
