Hausa Grammar

Published in 1897, Robinson's Grammar was written to serve the needs of missionaries, colonial staff and army officers in West and Central Africa who wished to communicate with the local people. Compiled for practical, communicative purposes rather than for purely academic study, it remained the standard work for twenty-five years.
