Hidden Redemption

Redemption Bluff was just the place that Mary Gallagher needed to make a new start with her daughters. Her existence in the lawless tenements of New York City was behind her as was the reward for her arrest, until a bounty hunter arrives in the midst of a blizzard, demanding to see her brother--the sheriff--so he can surrender his prisoner. While avoiding the bounty hunter in the snowed-in town, Mary finds herself drawn to the outlaw, much to the sheriff's dismay. Jack McGarrett isn't quite who he claims to be. To start, Jack McGarrett doesn't exist. The name has always been a cover for Jake Hart and this time, McGarrett is supposed to be one outlaw in a town rumored to be populated with outlaws. With a railroad line and a full stop station on the line for Redemption, Jake has to determine if the past is truly in the past. A station with passengers ripe for the plucking might be too much of a temptation for even reformed outlaws. When secrets are revealed and truths exposed, everything might unravel.
