Hidden

Two years.
That's how long I've thought them dead. Oliver and I are figuring it out the only way I know how: one day at a time. Nevermind that he's sick and getting worse. Nevermind that my only friend has left me. Life has stabilized, even if it's not glamorous.
And then the knock.
Now everything is turned upside down. I'm desperately tracking down answers for us both. Nevermind the Shifters with me saying I'm special and powerful. Nevermind the deadline ticking in the back of my mind.
They say they want to help, but I've learned to never trust a Shifter.
