About Honeycomb Island
Honeycomb Island had all the beauty and splendor that brought tourists from all over the world to visit. Its large Victorian homes with wrap-around porches and the gothic Nottingham window boxes filled with deep red roses, bright yellow daffodils, and soft purple lilacs that from a distance looked more like velvet. From a short distance, residents could watch the thundering waves of ordinate blues as they sparkled against the ocean's cool, salty breezes that brought a feeling to everyone who visited that they were family and Honeycomb Island was home. At least that's how Paisley Ogley and her sister Willa remembered their mom telling her as they returned to the Island, but life wasn't always easy for the Ogley sisters, especially for Paisley.
It was hard to believe that more than twenty-five years ago, Paisley had felt that she had lost everything. Her family, her sight, her identity, and her life, but after a breakthrough happened for her, Paisley was able to see and view the world that she longed for as a young child. Now an adult, she was set on achieving her dreams, even if it meant losing her relationship with Dr. Parker Thurnbush, but Paisley never imagined learning a family secret that would change how she looked at life. If anything, it pushed Paisley to reach all that mattered to her with even greater strength.
