Hope Climbs

It all started March 6, 2012, as author Gina Davis sent her two children off to school-nine-year-old Eli and seven-year-old Elisha. Eli had a small cough, but not enough to concern his mother. But that symptom was just the beginning of a long journey during which Davis would rely more than ever on her faith in God.

In Hope Climbs, she recounts the days and nights as Eli battled a rare disease that doctors found hard to diagnose. This story journeys into the valley and gives insight into a mother's heart as she watches her son die before her eyes. She tells this story of a son's struggle to live and a mother's struggle to find hope.
