In a nod to Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Hurry Home for Christmas is also a tale of redemption in the holiday season.
Eve Noel Nolan has spent longer than she can remember giving the Christmas Spirit the cold shoulder. For this reason, she avoids returning to her small-town home of Connor Falls during the holidays. This year, however, she is unable to fashion a reason good enough to stay away.
Between her gregarious family, the odd dream or two and the appearance in her life of a man with the improbable name of Jacob Marley, her life is headed for a change.
