In 2028, Mwenda Sililo is enjoying his finest twilight life when he receives a message from an unknown number telling him about a daughter he never knew about.
Thirty years ago, Mwenda, a constable police officer in the Criminal Investigation Department, married his childhood girlfriend, Chitalu Given Chisompola, a newly recruited secondary school teacher, with the promise of an everlasting love and many children.
Eight years into marriage, Mwenda receives a phone call from his uncle, Bo Kwibisa, asking him to meet with him. Mwenda confides in his uncle, trusting him to keep his secret about why they don't have children.
