When Delilah McKenna, a headstrong, workaholic editor-in-chief, ended up in the arms of Jai, she was thrilled. That was until she discovered that he was cheating with her sister. In a state of despair, Delilah ran away, driving her car aimlessly until it was running on fumes, when she noticed the gas light in her car had turned on. In a desperate attempt to fill up her gas tank, she pulled over to the nearest gas station. In the dark of the night, she discovered that she had locked herself out of her car while filling up the fuel tank. She had no phone, and no one in sight to assist her. Her luck turns around when she is offered a phone by an attractive stranger. Despite the unresolved conflict with her ex-fiancé, Delilah couldn't resist the spontaneous encounter. However, their meeting ended abruptly when Drew Sanchez, her best friend, picked up Delilah, leaving the stranger standing alone with no means to contact her again.
