Ideal tradition and religion

Learn about the religious experience generally and some of its regional variations in this tutorial. Particularly in small-scale cultures, the varieties of religious beliefs and religious leaders will be the emphasis. It is outside the purview of this lesson to examine Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or any other major religion. The method used is called cultural relativity, and religious practices or beliefs are assessed not according to their "correctness" or "sophistication," but rather according to how well they serve the society in which they are practiced.
