The concept is based on the old "cliffhanger" movie serial shorts they used to play before the main feature in theaters. Each book is written as an instalment in a serial collection. Each saga serial is divided into 5 or more novellas. These are intended to be short entertaining reads for busy people. Titles are currently available in paperback and ebooks.

(The last installment in the Into the West Saga Serial collection) Now that Sheriff Jones has been dealt with, Sheriff Ike Rowlett and Marshal Jack James turn their attention to catching the tax bandits and getting the governor to let Sharon Springs and its townsfolk get back to their quiet lives. When the identities of the bandits are finally revealed, many of the citizens step up to help protect their own and find a conclusion to the whole fiasco that everyone can live with while giving the governor what he wants. Sharon Stephens calls in a favor that Ike and Jack are not too happy about. Together they find a way to turn a bad situation to their advantage. If things work out, it just might be the start of a new life for Jack and the woman he loves. Kansas finally wins its bid for statehood and the people of Sharon Springs start celebrating new beginnings, but the happiness is disrupted when news comes down the orphan train line about a stranger searching for riders of the train. When someone from the past shows up, it could shatter the newfound happiness of many families. The Ruths and the Wellensteins will have to come together to protect their families once again.
