Jaider Esbell - Tembeta

This volume's honoree is Jaider Esbell, a renowned visual artist and writer who, in his work, dialogues with Makuxi culture, revitalizing the myth of Makunaíma. Jaider Esbell passed away early, at the age of 42, in 2021, after becoming one of the most important contemporary visual artists in Brazil, with an internationally recognized work.
