About Just this one time, Fishing Souls

A true friend is not easy to find, although friendship is everything we consider as equal. We consider as friends or not the people with whom we create or have affinity, those emotional bonds sometimes founded on false impressions. That is why, when those friendships fail us, they always leave a trace of sadness in our soul that nevertheless reminds us, shouting in the midst of the storm, that we are never alone, for it is God Himself who guards and accompanies us. This book is for those who believe in something more than themselves, and trust in God enough to have felt lost many times. We have all surely felt this way at one time or another, for the mystery of this life we live is, quite simply, that it is God himself - the Creator of the Universe - who lives with us this experience so incomprehensible to human beings and so incomprehensible to us; incomprehensible to human beings and at the same time so simple and straightforward: life is love, and joy, for the rest are only bad seeds. The truths of life are very few, and most of them have to do with those not so beautiful things that awaken us along the path of life. When we live focused on what matters little, and work for money instead of achieving great things, we often forget one of the not-so-secret keys to the adventure of living this existence, which is that at the end of the road of life, there is a lot to be learned, that at the end of life's journey, we don't take the money, the clothes or the jewelry with us, everything stays. Then, why do we try so hard for all that which is worth so little? Why do we often treat others worse than we would like to be treated? Why do we detest what we do not understand? Why do we criticize what we do not know? Why do we seek God among the dead and not among the living? Why do we live dreaming instead of walking wide awake? Why do we pray less and less? Why does Mass no longer mean anything? Why do we swim in our own sins, and even flaunt them with pleasure and brazenness? Why do we shower every day on the outside while we are dirty inside? Why do we lie, and why do we deceive? Why do we do many things we do not want to do? Why do we only see but do not observe? Why are we always overcome by our own fear? Why are we born and why do we die? Why do we not see clearly what we are? Why are we poor and why are we rich? Why does no one know where God is and why do we keep searching? This book is about all this and much more. Thank you for reading these lines. Malabo, 29.07.2022, 11:37PM

A true friend is not easy to find, although friendship is everything we consider as equal.
We consider as friends or not the people with whom we create or have affinity, those emotional bonds sometimes founded on false impressions.
