Juvenal Satires Book III

The first edition of Book 3 of Juvenal's Satires as a unit by itself contains a detailed introduction, Latin text and translation, and commentary. Poems 7-9 show Juvenal at the height of his powers, directing his biting satire at Roman nobles, the clientela system and literary life in the early 2nd century AD.
