Some childhood friendships aren't meant to last forever. While some grow with a lot of nurturing, others turn sour when truths are hidden and neglected. This seems to be true when it comes to Monika and Dayonni.
These ladies have been friends since middle school. Through the many ups and downs, they have remained each other's confidants and sisters until their relationships get in the way. After Monika suffers two miscarriages and her man walks out on her, she feels lost and unwanted. Even with encouraging words from her best friend, she still can't get back to the person she once was, leaving her vulnerable and open. This is when a freak accident and too much drinking leads Monika to do the unthinkable. Everything changes after that.
While Monika is going through her struggles, Dayonni is finally making her dreams come true. Sealing her fate by securing a huge deal with a major company gives her a reason to celebrate, but when a fight breaks out between her boyfriend, Carlos, and his best friend, Don, the night doesn't go as planned.
Once Carlos is forcefully escorted out of her party, Dayonni finds comfort in the arms of another. This makes her realize that her heart isn't where it used to be, and it might be time for her and Carlos to move on. But will they be able to?
