Koptos, Qurneh

Among the leading Egyptologists of his day, Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie (1853-1942) excavated over fifty sites and trained a generation of archaeologists. This single-volume reissue brings together the illustrated accounts of his excavations at Koptos (modern-day Qift) and Qurna, first published in 1896 and 1909 respectively.
