Lady Ana

Lady Ana traces the failure of a personal struggle with anorexia and bulimia or purging disorder that was never treated. It traces relapses as well and has no hopeful words for recovery. To the author, the disorders have no end but are used as defense mechanisms. Anorexia and bulimia caused anguish and health scares but not low enough weight to be diagnosed when there really wasn't a diagnose available in the 1980's. Follow the author during her own suffering with these hidden disorders.
