Offers an introduction to the basic study of law. Law is a vast topic, made up of a multitude of far-reaching subtopics. Each chapter covers a topic large enough for its own book. As such, each provides a basic overview. The goal is not to make readers experts on the law but, rather, to give them a basic understanding of the laws of the US.
