Leaves from a Life

First published in 1908, this is the autobiography of Jane Ellen Panton (1847-1923), an author on creative and domestic issues. In it she recalls the places she lived, and the painters, actors, writers and other figures who were central to her family's circle, and influenced her tastes and interests.
