Corbett Blake is a child who wants nothing more than to follow in the footsteps of his noble father and grandfather before him. However, it has been decided that he will be the sorcerer's apprentice instead of a knight since he sometimes has dreams that are premonitions.
This is the last thing the boy wants. When omens start to happen to predict the rocky future of his family, Corbett doesn't know how to stop what the future holds in store for each of his siblings.
