A historic lighthouse. A mysterious thief. An intolerable cousin.
The Fourth of July on Saint Simons Island always brings plenty of excitement. But when 14-year-old Ethan invites his contrary cousin Connor to spend the holiday week, he stumbles upon a little more than he bargained for. While dragging Connor all around "his little Island," Ethan overhears a seemingly malicious plot to vandalize the historic lighthouse.
Even worse, the scheme seems to revolve around the annual Independence Day fireworks show.
When mysterious strangers start stalking him and Connor all over the Island, Ethan--along with his Aunt Emma and cousin Cassidy--finds himself following a trail of clues both current and historical. As time ticks off the clock towards the 4th of July, Ethan finds himself caught up in an unexpected quest to save his beloved lighthouse.
