Robert Klayman, former Los Angeles private investigator, is a wanted man. He's out of prison, blacklisted and broke.A local gangster hires him to travel to the Ukraine to move a stolen Rembrandt under the watchful eyes of the Russian mob. Part of the job includes an assassination of a Nazi war criminal. Each step of the way, Klayman must face a crisis of conscience.
