""Benji recently lost their beloved dog, Oma, who was their emotional support animal and guardian angel of 9 years. Oma developed sudden, aggressive liver cancer that spread throughout her little body quite quickly. This short book, made possible by a 21 day poetry challenge, provides a glimpse of the first month or so after the loss. Benji was too depressed to work and was attending an Intensive Outpatient Program for mental health.
