It all began with
curiosity.About a book, about
a boy, about … everything. Curiosity was not a
welcome trait in Jacob’s world. A forbidden

certain he will become a considerable hindrance in the fulfilment of our
objectives,” commanded the cold voice. “And mislead this human called Jacob.
His involvement is no accident. He has been placed on the path by Him.
Jacob must never believe.”
