Mary's Family

This is an extraordinary story of an extraordinary woman named Mary. In spite of the dire, treacherous circumstances she was born into, and the rejection and abandonment by her mother when she was still very young, Mary develops an unerring resilience to the brutality of poverty. Her remarkable strength of character sees her combating feelings of helplessness to change her life's fortunes.
A courageous and bold woman, Mary also has a soft heart. She gathers a family of 12 abandoned children living in desperate conditions on the streets of Mumbai and nurtures them to walk side by side with her on the journey out of the doom.
Then Gopal enters her life. A trustworthy and supportive friend, who offers Mary and her children kindness and generosity.
