Milli Finds Her Bench

As she approaches her eighty-fifth birthday, Milli Tarnover vows to sit on her special bench at the Seaside Arboretum where she enjoyed her best days with her late husband and son. However, getting there by herself requires tricking the New Dawn Retirement Village into believing she has a medical appointment. Milli succeeds in the ruse, and then neglects to return, but at what cost? When the authorities track her down, they shepherd her back to the retirement village with ostensibly good intentions. But they are covering up a deadly secret. Can Milli save herself and all the residents of the memory care unit before it is too late?
