Father Erik Jensen has been tasked with discovering why fellow priest Father
Olin has committed suicide; he is aided by Sister Ilsa Palme, Olin's longtime friend.
But the inquiry soon proves more challenging than supposed, and brings
questions and crises of faith suddenly to the surface.
