Molly the Sheepdog

A great read for all ages. It's a coming-of-age book that follows Meg dealing with the challenges of loss and learning. Meg wants to learn how to train a dog to herd sheep; she needs a proper dog. Her grandfather helps her find a mentor who gives her an unfinished dog, Molly.
Meg and Molly work to overcome trauma, learning a difficult skill and building an unconditional bond.
Against all odds, they begin their journey into the world of learning how to work together and eventually enter sheepdog competitions.
