Echo is a German Shepard puppy and she bounds in to wake the old boy up. Arthur the 93kg English Mastiff who sleeps most days - all days.She is full of energy and pure mischief. The old boy keeps telling her off and trying to pull her into line.She wants to play! He wants to sleep!Mischief is afoot and she has the gold fish pond lined up for today's fun!Strutting off she heads for the Lilly pads and is knee deep in water and trying to dislodge them from the mud. Arthur thinks he best see what she is up to. She is always into mischief when their owner is at work and he's sick and tired of being blamed for her mayhem.Echo is yanking on the Lilly pad when a toad suddenly appears and demands she leave his home alone! The toad keeps eyeballing her when Arthur arrives and saves the day by lifting her out of the pond by the scruff of her neck. He plonks her inside the house. She sleeps for a while.Next the clothesline would be good fun! Nothing on it but spies the clotheshorse and attacks that eventually jamming her head in the rungs. A whimper or two will get the old boy and he'll help free her. Arthur is not impressed. The woodpile is next. Arthur finds wood strewn all over and tidies up. Meanwhile she is off to the pond. Myra, their owner arrives home, picks the clothes up and greets the dogs. Echo heads for the fishpond again. Arthur catches her again. One look at Echo and Myra decides its bath time. Pond water stinks!Back to the fishpond, this time the Grumpy Toad warns her if don't stop destroying my home, he might destroy hers. Echo think rubbish, what can you do to me!The little brain cells are slowly lighting up for Echo. Very, very slowly but happening.She yanks the lilly pad out and destroys them, there are still more lilly pads but the Grumpy toad is defending his turf!Another bath!Nighttime comes and a vase is found broken. Neither of them did that!Morning comes, Myra heads to work and back to the fishpond and destroys two Lilly pads, then the toilet paper, then onto the brazier full of ashes! Then onto the broom until there are no bristles left.She heads off to her cubbyhole in the garden for a nap!But wait something is making her itch! Seems the Grumpy toad has left a trap for her. Fleas! Echo is desperate for a bath. The Grumpy Toad appears and tells her if she wants war she will have it and reveals that Rastas the rat has moved in and he is probably the one who broke the vase. Echo agrees to behave and her and Mr Arthur decide they have a rat to deal to.
