My Grandmother, My Mother, Me

This book is an autobiography of the author. It is a reflection on her life, as well as on the life of her mother and of her grandmother. It analyses the difficulties of her mother raising the author alone. It also considers how much the lives of women has changed throughout the Twentieth century. Least but not last it is a reflection about growing up as a mixed person (black and white or white and black)
