Skyler is a Flemish Giant Rabbit, who lives with her caregiver Suz in Southern Arizona. She is a descendent of Holly of the Willow clan, and her Dad was Climber of the Saguaro clan. Flemish Giant Rabbits are known for their intelligence and awareness of the environment. She wants to let everyone know how important it is to understand how animals feel and think, and understand others. Her extended family is made up of brothers and sisters, and her hen friends, human caregiver-Suz, and Smooth Collie named Candy. This book is about Skyler's friend Third, a red hen, and what happens to them on a daily basis. It shows the interaction between the various animals, how they communicate through animal talk, and how they care for one another. And how humans help provide a safety net for animal survival.
