I could have said that an evil force had seized a few of us. Melissa Joane Chatel was born in 1988 in Port-au-Prince. At age eighteen, she immigrated to Canada and joined her two younger sisters. Finding new hope, she wrote her first fantasy book: The Legend of the Sisters' Souls, followed by My Precious, the story of her life combined with a fictive and futuristic story. The Count of the Twentieth Century became her third book. The gift of writing with which she was born and which makes her proud gives her the hope of a better tomorrow.
