My Thoughts...

About My Thoughts...

Right from school days I have been averse to English grammar and its permutation and combinations. An interesting trivia during College days While joining College, English evaluation test is kept to assess each student's ability and then he/she is allotted to either Group A - D (high level) or Group E -H (Average level). Forewarned by my seniors, I deliberately downplayed my performance in the evaluation test, but just couldn't squeeze into 2nd group and was allotted Section D! Reason to downplay is Group E - H basic syllabus and can get good marks without sweating it out, while the first group was full of prose, poems, dramas and prepare as hard as you might, getting 50% itself was, for me at least, a herculean task. Given this backdrop, when my friend, an engineer by profession and litterateur by passion suggested I write poems I inwardly thought he had gone 'bonkers'. Finally I succumbed to his persistent egging on and have come up with the basic template of what I thought a poem is/are. In case I have blasphemized the 'Queen's' language - so be it. Minor retribution to what the Britishers did to us, right?

While joining College, English evaluation test is kept to assess each student's ability and then he/she is allotted to either Group A - D (high level) or Group E -H (Average level).

In case I have blasphemized the 'Queen's' language - so be it. Minor retribution to what the Britishers did to us, right?
