Mystery Under the Rhubarb Plant

What would you do if you were picking flowers in your grandma's backyard when suddenly, the huge green leaves of her rhubarb plant begins to wiggle? Would you run to Grandma for help, or would you check it out yourself?
That is exactly what Ava Rose and Ella Rose did! They wanted to find out for themselves.
They couldn't decide what to do at first. What if it was a snake or a big old fat toad? It could even be a skunk hiding under the plant!
The girls came up with a plan to use a long, sturdy stick. Ava Rose stood as far back as she could. Ella Rose was so nervous and said, "Ava, be careful." Ava Rose leaned over and lifted up the leaves of the big rhubarb plant. Ava Rose and Ella Rose screamed and jumped back. They couldn't believe their eyes. It was a...no, no, no. Can't tell you.
