'Nil-Dashan' and 'Amrita Pritam: Ek silent nazm' - both are narratives of history written by living human beings on different planes. 'Nil-Dashan' is the story of Mahatma Gandhi's visit to Champaran and his opposition to the British rule there and his broad thinking; Whereas 'Amrita Pritam: Ek Khamosh Nazm' is an altogether different story of poetess/storyteller Amrita Pritam's unrequited love with well-known poet Sahir Ludhianvi and painter Imroz.
