About NEW TERRAIN of STRUGGLE
In this book we seek to examine and demonstrate evidence-based answers to the following questions. Which of the seemingly bizarre experiences often reported by people are true, and which of these experiences are mythical or false, and who qualifies to judge what is true and what is mythical or false? How can the people who go through scary, traumatising experiences, be helped effectively, in a meaningful way? How safe are mind games? What do they involve? What exactly is involved in the practices or experiences of channeling, and what is the true source of channeled information? Who, what, and where exactly are ancestral spirits? Who and what exactly are sangomas, traditional healers, mediums, spiritists, diviners, faith healers, fortune tellers, clairvoyants, astrologers, and by what powers do these people operate? Are there people who are 'witchdoctors, witches, or wizards', or is this term an insult? If there were to be 'witchdoctors', who would qualilify to be called as such? If someone feels called to become a sangoma, traditional healer, astrologer, faith healer, fortune teller, clairvoyant, spiritist, or medium, can such person be released from such a calling or responsibility? How should the person respond to that 'calling'? Can what we perceive as bad luck really be changed or prevented, and if so, how? After all, what is the real source or cause of the 'bad luck' that we perceive? What helpful interventions can be applied for people who live harrassed lives; whether due to dreams, visions, and especially people who feel harrassed by what they perceive to be supernatural phenomena, whether real or imagined (as some people will be quick to assume that these are imagined)?
